Knowing what a column actually contains — not just what its header says — is the first step of safe data handling. This detector applies pattern and structure analysis to label columns and flag personal data before the dataset goes anywhere.
How to use
- Paste CSV (or load the example).
- Click Detect semantics & PII.
- Review PII flags and copy the report for your data-handling record.
Limitations
- Detection is heuristic — review flagged columns before making compliance decisions.
- Name/address detection is not included in Version 1.0.

Is my data uploaded anywhere?
No — that is the whole point. PII scanning happens locally so sensitive data never leaves your machine.
